Baccarat Game Objective:
In Baccarat you make a wager that either the player's hand will win, the banker's hand will win, or that the game will result in a tie.

The object of baccarat is to predict which hand will get a point value closest to 9, keeping in mind that all ten-value cards count as zero and Aces count as one. When the total value of the cards add up to a value of more than ten, then ten is deducted from that number to get a card value under or equal to 9. To play, you place your wager on any one of the following hands:
  • Banker's hand.
  • Player's hand.
  • A tie.
  • Player's hand and a Tie.
  • Banker's hand and a Tie.
Then the Player and the Banker are each dealt a two-card hand. Following standard baccarat rules (shown below), a third card is dealt to the Player and/or the Banker.

The winning hand is the one with the point total closest to nine after all the cards are dealt. In case of a tie, when both the dealer's hand and the player's hand are equal in points, the bet is returned to the player. The exception being that the player had bet on a tie where the player is paid 8 to 1.
Game Information:
  • The game and the game rules are the same in both the Play Money and Real Money modes.
  • The game is available only on the No Download version (Java / Applet and HTML).
  • The minimum bet is $5.00 and the maximum amount that can be placed on the table is $100.00. This is the bet that needs to be placed for each option.
  • In case you are betting on Banker/Player and Tie, then the bet needs to be minimum of $5 on each option. If any of the option has a bet amount less than $5, the bet on that option will not be considered. Therefore, the maximum amount that a player can bet is $200 ($100 for each option).

Baccarat Game Rules:
  • Once the cards are dealt to the player and the dealer, the winning hand is the one with the point closest or equal to nine.
  • All ten-value cards except Aces are equal to zero. (10, Jacks, Kings, Queens). Aces count as one and the remaining cards count as per their face values.
  • When both the dealer's and the player's hands have equal point values, it is a Tie. If no bet has been placed on a Tie and if the result is a tie, the wager on the Banker or the Player is returned to the player.
  • All winning wagers for the Player pay even money.
  • The Banker takes 5% commission for all winning wagers on the Banker. This is deducted from your win amount.
  • Winning wagers on a Tie gives a pays off 8 to 1.
  • When the point value of the player's/dealer's hand is ten, then it is considered as zero.
  • When the total points of the player's/dealer's cards add up to a point value more than ten, then that point value is deducted from ten to get a point value lesser or equal to nine.
For example, if the player gets a 3d, 4c and a 7c, then the total sum is 14 and the point value of the hand is 4. (14 minus 10 equal to 4)

Rules for when a third card is to be drawn:
  • If either the Player or the Banker have a total of 8 or 9 on the first two cards no further cards are drawn.
  • If the Player's total is less than or equal to 5 the Player's hand draws a third card.
  • If the Player does not draw a third card, then the Banker's hand stands on 6 or more and takes a third card on a total of 5 or less. If the Player does take a third card then the rules below will determine if the banker takes a third card.
    • If the Banker's total is 2 or less then Banker draws a card, regardless of what the Player's third card is.
    • If the Banker's total is 3 then the Banker draws a third card unless the Player's third card was an 8.
    • If the Banker's total is 4 then the Banker draws a third card unless the Player's third card was a 0,1,8,or 9.
    • If the Banker's total is 5 then the Banker draws a third card if the Player's third card was 4,5,6,or 7.
    • If the Banker's total is 6 then the Banker draws a third card if the Player's third card was a 6 or 7.
    • If the Banker's total is 7 then the Banker stands.
